I just wanted to let you know that we had a fantastic Elvira experience last night! Her chemistry with the audience was incredible, and felt very unique and special. We were all left weak in the knees with laughter and it was positively joyous – yeah! Our sincere admiration and thanks to Elvira, we will definitely have her back again! – Barb Wolfe, Surrey Performing Arts Centre
Elvira Kurt raised the warm-up comic job to a new level, turning every gala’s pre-show into a fast and furiously funny show of its own. Energetic, sharp and dizzyingly fast on her feet, she was a marvel — and it was entirely fitting that Kurt was handed a spot in the Women Who Kill Gala and killed. – Brad Oswald, Winnipeg Free Press, review of performance at Winnipeg Comedy Festival 2012
Elvira was fantastic. She was funny as hell, engaging to a crowd that saw a great mix of people aged 16-60, and stuck around afterwards to sign autographs and take pictures with a group of people that had just fallen in love with her. A great suggestion on your part. St. John’s loves Elvira. – Promoter, St. John’s Newfoundland theatre
Appreciate if you could take a moment to please pass along my thanks and “rave reviews” to Elvira for her performance last night at the SASC of Waterloo Region 20th anniversary event. Elvira is just what the crowd needed! She was delightful … super funny … and as I remember her comments and antics this morning I’m STILL laughing!!! Thanks Elvira, for taking time out of your busy life and schedule to come entertain us Kitchener-Waterloo folks for the evening! Hope we get to see you again, real soon. – Heather Hofstetter
