Meg Soper knew she had a passion for making people laugh. When Meg was in nursing school she frequented a
local comedy club in Vancouver. Week after week Meg Soper would be at the back of the room watching
all the regular stand-ups work their act until Meg finally mustered the courage to get up on stage
during Amateur Night and give it a try.
She got up and bombed quite frankly…but one joke at the very end of her set got a big laugh and she was hooked! What an
incredible feeling. From that day forward, comedy has been a major part of
her life. In fact, humour has been a key survival tool when juggling the demands of a career
and family.
Professional speaker and comedienne Meg Soper is recognized as one of the premiere motivators on life balance in Canada.
With her unique perspective on life, she captivates her audiences and leaves them feeling enlightened and entertained.
Meg has appeared as a feature performer at universities, conventions and corporate functions across North America.
Meg has shared the stage with such celebrities as Ray Romano and Ellen Degeneres. As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, Meg understands the challenges that nurses face from a first hand perspective,
and has a very strong following in the health care community. She has appeared on the CBC Television Network, Women's Television Network,
and Prime TV, as well as being featured in many radio programs and comedy festivals.
