Paul Mussell is the fourth-generation dairy farmer to run his family farm but the first to be a comedian and auctioneer.
At an early age, Paul became involved in 4-H and then moved on to Junior Farmers learning about the constant evolving farming business. After high school, he attended Kemptville College and earned his diploma in agriculture before returning home to take over the family business.
When Paul isn't farming or performing comedy, he has seasonal tasks to undertake. During winter there are trees to cut for firewood, sap to boil for maple syrup in the spring and many local fairs in the fall to show his purebred Holsteins.
Paul Mussel's clean country-style comedy has him traveling across the country, from conventions, fairs, private parties, and banquets.
He has appeared on national TV on CBC's Country Canada and on TVO's Studio 2. Paul has also appeared on CBC Radio's "Madly Off In All Directions" and has performed with Luba Goy from the hit TV show Royal Canadian Air Farce.
From corporate banquets to country fairs, Paul Mussell has made audiences laugh all across the country. Taken from his experience as a father, husband & farmer, his collection of one-liners and interesting tidbits are guaranteed to bring a smile to the faces of even the most cosmopolitan audience.
If laughter is good for the soul, comedian Paul Mussell has cornered the market. Paul lives surrounded by material for his comedy: his farm, his family, his church and his every day moments. Audiences love his blend of clean, rural humour which pokes fun at farm life and touches the common thread in everyone.
In over a dozen years as a professional entertainer, Paul Mussell has delighted Canadian audiences at hundreds of shows and on national television and radio with humour that is "clean, simple and genuinely funny". He is often profiled in print media and has numerous requests for radio & television interviews. For pure entertainment that is intensely relaxing and seriously funny, associations, companies and organizations need to look no further than Paul Mussell.
